Led by Kelly Twells, MSN, FNP-BC, a board-certified advanced nurse practitioner with more than 30 years of nursing experience, TruWellness is committed to providing comprehensive and individualized care to the Henderson, Nevada, community.

Kelly's journey in health care began in 1990 as a Registered Nurse after obtaining her associate's degree at Community College of Allegheny County in West Mifflin, PA. With a passion for patient care, she furthered her education and obtained a bachelor's degree in nursing from The Pennsylvania State University in University Park, Pennsylvania, in 1999. 

Continuing her commitment to advanced nursing, Kelly earned a master's degree in advanced nursing from the University of Nevada in Las Vegas in 2014, in addition to obtaining board certification as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC). She has cared for a variety of patients in her nursing and nurse practitioner experience, for adults of all ages. She has worked with acute and chronic disease management, tailoring plans to the diverse needs of each patient.  With telehealth options, and mobile services, she is uniquely qualified to navigate the health and wellness of her patients.

As a proud member of esteemed organizations such as the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Nevada Advanced Practice Nurses Association, and the American Nurses Association, Kelly brings a wealth of experience and a commitment to ongoing care and education to TruWellness.
